Program 

Our Program is a Progressive Montessori program which incorporates different teaching styles such as Piaget and Multiple Intelligences in unique individualized curriculum plans for each child.  Our basic pedogogy follows that:

What makes our program different?

The difference is in our methods. 

*We invite children to attend a new presentation of an activity or concept.  They are not forced to sit in circle or at desks.  Sometimes conventional methods cause the children to tune out or other things they would rather be doing. 

*We believe that in order to learn the children must want to know the outcome.  We strongly encourage to explore their environment.  Children have an innate curiousity.  We encourage them to hypothesize what they believe is happening in their environment.  We provide the tools and the knowledge to collect and manage data and observations. 

*As the child mind expands and they are able to move from the concrete to abstract we introduce the concept of drawing conclusions, presenting their beliefs and presenting their own thoughts in a cohesive, concise and intelligent medium.

We use a multimedia teaching platform and children are introduced to computers from a young age.  We use computer programs to help in the learning process and provide powerpoint presentations, video documentaries etc. to provide visual stimuli.  Coupled with traditional Montessori classroom materials our program truly is Montessori for the new Millennium and our next generation and the leaders of the future.
